Bill Seabrooke,CPA,CGMA,BBA,MAcc
Bill Seabrooke is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant in Cumming, GA who provides accounting, income tax services, instructional training, and management consulting services to his clients and their business operations. He is a retired U. S. Marine Corps officer with more than 45 years of management experience. His past successes include the planning, coordination, execution and completion of key projects for the Department of Defense, Motorola, the Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, and Dell Incorporated.
His professional experience base includes public accounting, business process improvement (Six Sigma), financial management, income taxation, project management, information technology integration, and improving high technology manufacturing operations. He has provided academic instruction via contract instruction, and as a university faculty member.
He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in July 1965. After completing Officer's Candidate School at Quantico, VA in 1968 he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant on May 31, 1968. During his Marine Corps career he served our country in various assignments all over the world, including Vietnam, Japan, the Caribbean, Italy, Norway, and Okinawa. In October 1970 he earned the coveted "Wings of Gold" at NAS Pensacola, FL. From 1970-1985 Bill served as an A-6E Bombardier/Navigator in the Grumman A-6E "Intruder" aircraft. His flight designations included becoming a Mission Commander, Nuclear Weapons Delivery aircrewmember, Naval Flight Officer instructor, and A-6E NATOPS Evaluator.
From 1994 - 2011 he was a Senior Faculty member for the Becker Professional Review. Bill has been a Professor in the MBA program at St. Edward’s University, a Faculty Associate in the School of Accountancy at the Arizona State University, and a Cost & Managerial Accounting instructor for the Austin Community College. He has facilitated courses for Motorola, SEMATECH, and the Lockheed Missiles and Space Company.
While living in Austin, TX Bill was a "Wish Grantor" volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He actively supported all of their annual fund raising activities.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting (Cum Laude) from the University of Georgia and a Master of Accountancy degree from The George Washington University. Bill was in his third year of studies for the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Production Operations Management at the Arizona State University prior to relocating to Austin, TX. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Georgia and Texas.
Bill's academic achievements and honors include membership in Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Alpha Psi national academic honor societies. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1986.
In 2012 Bill received the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant from the AICPA/CIMA. The AICPA/CIMA is a joint venture between the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. This joint venture combines the strength of the AICPA in North America with the CIMA�s presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and other countries around the world.
He and his wife, Sherry, have been married for more than 50 years. Both of their sons, Joe and Michael, are successful professionals who live in Austin, TX.
